One of our customers asked us today, “What does Quad-Band GSM contemptible”?
Here is your surrebutter:
First, GSM (Worldwide System for Plastic Communications) is a class of cellular frequency that AT&T and T-Expressive manipulate off of here in the Common States. There are other smaller GSM carriers in the US, that might use the same networks, but these are the absolute two. We are currently selling our Nokia E Series handsets, that consist of Quad-Band Cellular Radios. The Nokia E71 that our bloke is purchasing has 4 Frequency bands that are readily obtainable to use. They are GSM 850 and 1900 (Jointly in use accustomed to in the US/Canada) and GSM 900 and 1800 (Reciprocally familiar in Europe/Asia/Africa/EMEA).
Our systematization currently sells the Motorola Q9h (Unlocked), Nokia E71 and E51 (Unlocked GSM Handsets). We deal in the Quad-Band versions so our purchaser can use the phone here in the US, and then treks Internationally to extra countries using supplementary Cellular Networks and Frequencies.
These Unlocked GSM phones use SIM cards that are interchangeable for separate carriers in these countries, so our customers that junket outside can buy a SIM pasteboard and discard it in the same phone they filled to the gunwales for the operate.
Our next subdivide will swoop further into this branch of knowledge and disclose how the phones are also Dual Band Able, and can use WiFi to recognize calls as well.
